Marinades
Two of our very favorite marinade recipes! Each recipe makes about ⅓-½ cup marinade, enough to flavor 1-2 lbs.
STEAK MARINADE
Our Steak Marinade is ideal for that chunk of beef in the freezer, but also adds wonderful depth to poultry and meaty vegetables such as mushrooms, carrots, sweet potatoes, zucchini, and more!
Ingredients
- ½ cup worshestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp dijon mustard
- ½ tsp Amoretti® Natural Barbecue Mesquite Type Seasoning W.S. Extract Powder
- ⅛ tsp Amoretti® Garlic W.S. Extract
- ⅛ tsp Amoretti® Bay Oil O.S. Extract
- pinch freshly cracked black pepper
Directions
- In a small bowl, slowly whisk the worcestershire into the mustard and Natural Barbecue Mesquite Type Seasoning Extract Powder to keep the marinade free of any undesirable clumps.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and whisk until smooth.
- Marinate desired protein or veggies for at least 30 minutes before grilling.
- Garlic extract was used in place of raw because it tends to burn very quickly in a pan or on a grill and we really wanted that garlicky deliciousness in every bite.
GINGER SOY MARINADE
Our Ginger Soy Marinade is delicious with seafood, chicken, vegetables, poke, and makes a great dipping sauce as well!
Ingredients
- ⅓ cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Amoretti® Organic Blue Agave Nectar Clear
- ½ tsp Amoretti® Ginger Compound
- zest of 1 lime
- juice of 2 limes
- 1 large clove garlic, grated
Directions
- Whisk all ingredients together.
- Marinate desired protein or veggies for at least 30 minutes before grilling.
