St Patrick's Day Pancake - Vegan + Gluten Free
How about starting your St. Patrick's Day with some fun green-colored pancakes topped with Amoretti's Irish Cream whipped cream? It's a delicious and festive way to celebrate with your family! It all whips up in one large bowl so clean up is a breeze.
Ingredients
- 1.5 cups of gluten free flour (I used Bob's Redmill 1-to-1)
- 1 tbs. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tbs. sugar
- 1 cup plant based milk
- 2 tbs. of oil (may omit if oil free)
- 1 tsp. of Amoretti Vanilla Madagascar Bourbon W.S. 2x
- 1 tbs. Amoretti Natural Green Food Color Water Soluble
- 1 cup of plant based heavy whipping cream
- 1.5 tsp of Irish Cream Extract Water Soluble
Directions
- In a large bowl, whisk together your dry ingredients
- Pour in your wet ingredients and mix together
- Lastly, stir in 1 tbs. of Amoretti Natural Green Food Color, add if needed for your desired color.
- Heat a large griddle and spoon your mixture (about 1/3 cup per pancake)over medium heat.
- Cook until bubbles form and then flip
- As your pancakes cook, in a separate bowl combine 1 cup of a plant-based whipping cream and Amoretti's Irish Cream extract.
- Whip until soft peaks form
- Assemble your pancakes on a plate stacked high and then top with your cream.
