Cute cookies are perfect for Valentine's Day!

- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment and set aside.
- In a bowl combine flour, salt, baking powder and star anise. Set aside.
- Cream sugar and butter together until fluffy.
- Add egg, Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla, Cinnamon Extract, and Clove Oil Extract. Mix until combined.
- Stir in dry ingredients until just combined.
- Roll out dough to ⅛”. Use a heart cutter and place onto lined sheet pan.
- Brush hearts with egg white and sprinkle with sprinkles OR leave plain if you plan to decorate with icing.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes until edges are barely golden.
- Cool completely before decorating with Orange Zest Icing.
ORANGE ZEST ICING
- Beat the butter with the powdered sugar.
- With the mixer running, slowly pour in milk. Scrape down the bowl.
- Add Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla and Orange Zest Oil Extract.
- Use immediately or refrigerate until ready to decorate, bring to room temperature before using.
