Mint Chocolate Bark
If you love the classic combination of mint and chocolate, this Mint Chocolate Chip Bark is an easy way to recreate that familiar flavor in a simple homemade treat.

Smooth dark chocolate gets layered and swirled with creamy white chocolate that’s been flavored with Amoretti® Natural Mint Chocolate Chip Oil Soluble Extract and colored a vibrant green using Amoretti® Oil Soluble Green Food Coloring. The result is a striking chocolate bark with refreshing mint flavor and a beautiful marbled finish.
Chocolate bark is one of the easiest desserts to make because it requires minimal ingredients and very little prep. Once the chocolate is melted, everything comes together in minutes before setting into crisp, breakable pieces that are perfect for sharing, gifting, or keeping on hand for a sweet treat.;

Why Use an Oil-Soluble Extract for Chocolate
When working with chocolate, it’s important to use flavorings designed specifically for fat-based applications.
Amoretti® Natural Mint Chocolate Chip Oil Soluble Extract is formulated to disperse evenly into chocolate, coatings, and other fat-based ingredients.
Unlike water-based extracts, oil-soluble flavors blend seamlessly into melted chocolate without affecting texture or consistency. Just a small amount adds the familiar mint-chocolate flavor that makes this bark taste like a classic mint chocolate chip dessert.

Ingredients:
- 8 ounces white chocolate, chopped
- 2 teaspoon coconut oil (split into 1 teaspoon)
- 1/2 teaspoon Amoretti® Green Oil Soluble Food Color
- 1 teaspoon Amoretti® Mint Chocolate Chip Oil Soluble Extract (split into two, 1/2 teaspoons)
- 8 ounces dark chocolate (60%) or semi-sweet chocolate
Directions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment or wax paper.
- Melt the chocolate in seperate bowls in a microwave, or over a double boiler. NOTE: the white chocolate melted best with the double boiler method.
- Once the chocolate is melted, stir in a 1/2 teaspoon of the mint chocolate chip extract into each bowl. Set the dark chocolate to the side, and add in the food color to the white chocolate.
- To assemble, pour the entirity of the dark chocolate onto the lined baking sheet. Immediately follow up with the white chocolate and drizzle over top of the dark chocolate in lines.
- Using a toothpick, swirl the layers together until a marbled effect forms.
- Let the chocolate rest at room temperature until hardened. About 1 hour. You can also place in a refrigerator to speed this process up if you are on a time crunch.
- Once hardened, break into pieces and enjoy!
