Pumpkin Spice French Toast

Pumpkin Spice French Toast

As the fall season approaches, there's nothing better than starting your day with a cozy, flavorful breakfast. Pumpkin Spice French Toast is a quick and easy way to bring those warm, autumn spices into your morning routine.

With simple ingredients you likely already have in your pantry, the key to transforming basic French toast into a seasonal delight is our Natural Pumpkin Spice Artisan Flavor.

This concentrated flavor brings an explosion of fall aromas—think cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, and ginger—all blending together perfectly to give you that unmistakable pumpkin spice flavor.

The subtle sweetness of the pumpkin complements the spices beautifully, adding a creamy richness to the French toast. This balanced flavor profile creates a comforting yet bold taste that lingers with each bite.

It’s the perfect addition to any recipe, making it easier than ever to create mouthwatering dishes. Whether you're whipping up pancakes, cookies, or even overnight oats, a dash of this pumpkin spice flavor instantly elevates your meals.

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 2/3 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 teaspoons of cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons of sugar
  • 1 tsp of Amoretti European Style Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. of Amoretti Natural Pumpkin Spice Artisan Flavor
  • 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt
  • 12 slices of brioche bread
  • Butter (3-4 tbsp, for cooking)

  • Directions

    1. In a medium-large sized bowl, whisk together the 4 eggs. Then add the milk, pumpkin puree, vanilla extract, Natural Pumpkin Spice Artisan Flavor, sugar, cinnamon, and sea salt. Mix until combined.
    2. Grab a large skillet and heat about a tablespoon of butter on medium heat.
    3. Dip both sides of a slice of brioche bread into your mixture and let the remaining batter drip off before putting in the pan.
    4. Set it in the skillet and let it get cripsy for about 4 minutes before fllipping to the other side. Repeat this step for the other side.
    5. Continue steps 3 & 4 until you run out of bread or batter.
    6. Stack your pumpkin spice french toast on a plate, top with butter and drizzle some maple syrup on top.
    7. Devour.

Note: if you plan to serve the french toast all at once and not as you remove from the skillet, set your oven to 200-250 F. This will help keep them warm until you're ready to serve.
