Coconut Brazilian Limeade Cocktail

This Brazilian Lemonade Cocktail is bright, creamy, and perfectly refreshing with fresh limes, white rum, and a hint of toasted coconut. It's a tropical twist on the classic Brazilian drink that's made for warm summer afternoons and backyard gatherings.

Ingredients

Brazilian Lemonade
  • 4 limes, quartered
  • 4 cups of water
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
Cocktail
  • 2 ounces white rum
  • 4 oz brazilian lemonade
  • 1 pump Amoretti® Premium Toasted Coconut Syrup
  • Fresh mint stem, garnish
  • Lime wheel, garnish

Directions

Brazilian Lemonade
  1. Wash the limes thoroughly and cut them into quarters. Be sure to remove the ends!
  2. Add the quartered limes, sweetened condensed milk, and water to a blender and blend for about a minute, just enough to release the juice without over-blending the peel, which can make the drink bitter.
  3. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher, pressing gently to extract as much liquid as possible.
  4. Chill until ready to use.
Cocktail
  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  2. Add the white rum, Brazilian lemonade, and Amoretti® Premium Toasted Coconut Syrup.
  3. Shake until well chilled.
  4. Strain into an ice-filled glass.
  5. Garnish with a fresh mint sprig and a lime wheel before serving.

Notes

  • Serving: Brazilian lemonade is best enjoyed shortly after it's made, as the fresh lime flavor can become more bitter over time.
  • Sweetness: Add a little more sweetened condensed milk or an extra pump of toasted coconut syrup if you prefer a sweeter cocktail.
  • Alcohol-free: Omit the rum for a creamy, tropical mocktail that's just as refreshing.
  • Chill your ingredients: Using cold Brazilian lemonade helps keep the cocktail crisp without needing to dilute it with extra ice.
