
Gluten-Free Brown Sugar Cinnamon Breakfast Pastry

Ingredients
Gluten-Free Crust:
- 6 tbsp. of Amoretti® Blanched Almond Flour (Extra Fine)
- 1 tbsp. of one-to-one gluten-free flour
- 4 tsp. of coconut oil, melted
- 4 tsp. of water
- 1/4 tsp. of Amoretti® Vanilla Paste
Brown Sugar Filling:
- 2 tbsp. of brown sugar (fine)
- 1/2 tsp. of cinnamon
- 1 1/2 tsp. coconut oil melted
French Toast Icing:
- 1/4 cup of powdered sugar
- 1 tsp. of Amoretti® Natural French Toast Artisan
- Pinch of cinnamon
- 1/2 - 1 tbsp. water to thin
Directions
Gluten Free Crust
- Preheat oven to 350 F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, mix Amoretti Blanched Almond Flour and gluten-free flour.
- Once combined, add in coconut oil, water and Amoretti® Vanilla Bean Paste. Mix until soft dough forms
- Split the dough in half and roll both halfs out onto the parchment paper to create two rectangles. Set aside until you make filling.
Brown Sugar Filling
- In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, cinnamon, and coconut oil.
- Spread evenly into the middle of one dough rectangle, leaving room on the edges.
- Place the second half of the dough on top and pinch the edges together using a fork
- Bake for about 17-18 minutes and allow to cool.
French Toast Icing
- In a small bowl, combine powdered sugar, Amoretti® Natural French Toast Artisan Flavor, cinnamon, and water.
- Drizzle on top of pastry and enjoy!!
