Sundried Tomato Extract Powder Water Soluble

When I got the product and opened it up, I could barely smell anything.. it did sort of smell like tomatoes but also smelled kind of "off".

I bought 10 plain roma tomatoes, sliced them into 4 pieces each and roasted them in the broiler for 15 mins.

I then used them to make a cold 'roasted' tomato soup (with other ingredients to thicken the tomatoes).

I added 1 tsp of the product to 1/3 cup of water and when it dissolved I could not believe the amazing smell!

How did this white powder all the sudden turn into sun dried tomatoes??

I added the solution to my tomato mix and blended it all up.

I created 52 oz of "roasted" sun dried (flavored) tomato soup.

It tasted fantastic!!

I got the roasted tomato flavor from the roma tomatoes but the single tsp of sun dried tomato extract takes it up a level to AMAZING!

I can't wait to try it on other savory experiments!

The product is water soluble but it doesn't dissolve easy in cool water.
