Developed by grafting raspberries, blackberries, and loganberries on the same vine, the boysenberry is a large, juicy raspberry flavored berry with a tart undertone. Because they are not very stable once off the vine, the majority are turned into jams, preserves and other commercial products. This is where Amoretti comes in!
We manufacture Amoretti Boysenberry compound in Southern California from natural ingredients, with no artificial flavors or colors, no artificial sweeteners, and no high fructose corn syrup. Amoretti Boysenberry compound can be used like any other Amoretti compound, as a unique flavor additive to batters of all kinds, or as a way to add extreme flavor to frozen treats such as homemade ice cream, gelato, or frozen yogurt. I have started a "Young Ladies Culinary Society" group to encourage and enable young ladies to aspire to greater culinary skills and abilities. We have been wanting to try macaron since the beginning but I have been here and done this and it is costly and daunting.
When I found Amoretti products listed in the "Resources" section of "Les Petits Macaron", I was dumbfounded by the scope of products as well as the reasonable cost of most items. I placed a small order immediately.
Our order came in several boxes, the last included several samples (very thoughtful). I purchased 5 compounds to use in shells, boysenberry, coffee, cappuccino tiramisu, passion fruit, and vanilla. The intensity of the flavors is dramatic and delightful to the palate. The recommended amount of compound per batch is 60 grams making the smaller sizes perfect for about 3 batches. Frankly, we will probably use only 40 grams because the flavors are so intense.
