Vegetarian Black Bean Chili

Tangerine and cumin add some intrigue to out Vegetarian Black Bean Chili!

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1½ cups chopped onion
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 4 tsp chili powder
  • 4 tsp ground cumin
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 3 - 15.5 oz cans seasoned black beans, drained
  • 2 - 14.5 oz cans stewed tomatoes
  • ¾ cup Amoretti® Tangerine Martini Mix
  • hot sauce
  • sour cream
  • fresh chopped cilantro

Directions

  1. Heat oil in a large high-sided skillet, add onion and sauté.
  2. Mix in garlic and spices. Cook for 1 minute.
  3. Add beans and tomatoes.
  4. Simmer over medium heat for 15 minutes, stirring often.
  5. Stir in Tangerine Martini Mix and remove from heat.
  6. Season to taste with hot sauce if desired.
  7. Serve with sour cream and cilantro.
Tangerine and cumin spice up this chili!
