Spicy Watermelon Candy Cocktail

Spicy Watermelon Candy Cocktail

It's five o'clock somewhere...and that somewhere is here!

Ring in happy hour with this Spicy Watermelon Candy Cocktail. Inspired by watermelon chile covered lollipops, this drink is the perfect end to your day.

This recipe only calls for a few, simple household ingredients: tequila, limes, ice, sparkling water, and our Watermelon and Spicy beverage infusions.

The best part about this drink you ask? The flavor.

Our Amoretti® Watermelon Beverage Infusion is crucial to making this recipe burst with real fruit flavor and sweetness. Oh! Did we also mention that this beverage infusion allows you to have watermelon cocktails and mocktails all year long? Winning!

The addition of our Spicy Beverage Infusion is what makes this recipe taste exactly like the Watermelon Chile Candy. It provides some heat and sweetness, while making you want to go back for round two!

Enough with the chitter chatter, let's get in to making this drink!

Ingredients

For the Rim:
  • Chamoy
  • 1 tbsp Tajin
For the Drink:

Directions

For the Rim:
  1. On two separate plates, pour your tajin and chamoy to prepare for rimming the glass.
  2. Dip your glass first into the chamoy, coating it evenly. You can also do a half rim if desired. Then dip into the tajin, ensuring that the chamoy is completely covered.
  3. Set to the side and grab your drink ingredients.
For the Drink:
  1. In a shaker glass, combine the Amoretti® Watermelon Beverage Infusion, Amoretti® Spicy Beverage Infusion, tequila, and ice. Shake until cold.
  2. Add fresh ice to your rimmed glass and pour in the drink. Top with a squeeze of lime, and add the slice into your drink.
  3. Add your watermelon garnish on top, and you are ready to devour, responsibly!

This recipe can also be made in a large batch for parties and gatherings. To do so, just quadrouple everything!

Cheers!
