Sour Apple Spunk
Kumquat season is just beginning, use the first handful to make this tasty drink! The sweet, tart flavor of our favorite mini citrus weaves perfectly around our Tart Apple Craft Purée for an invigorating libation and we're thinking it would be a smash hit with next Tuesday's tacos. Makes 1 cocktail.
Ingredients
- 2 kumquats, sliced thinly, plus more for garnish
- big bunch fresh mint
- 4 pumps Amoretti® Tart Apple Craft Purée
- 1 pump Amoretti® Organic Blue Agave Nectar Clear
- 3 fl oz rum
- ice
Directions
- Muddle kumquats with mint in a shaker until aromatic.
- Add Tart Apple Craft Puree, Blue Agave Nectar, and rum. Add some ice and shake, shake, shake.
- Strain over ice layered with thinly sliced kumquats.
- Enjoy!
