Ingredients
Cupcakes
- 1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup buttermilk (room temp.)
- 1/2 cup water (room temp.)
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 large egg (room temp.)
- 1 tbs. Amoretti® Natural Vanilla Bean Artisan
- 2 tbs. Amoretti® Natural Graham Cracker Artisan
Buttercream
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (room temp.)
- 1 tbs. Amoretti® Natural Toasted Marshmallow Artisan
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- Chocolate squares for garnish
- Mini Marshmallows for garnish
Directions
Cupcakes
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. and line a muffin tin with liners.
- Whisk you flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
- Make a well in your dry ingredients and add in your buttermilk, water, vegetable oil, egg, Amoretti® Natural Vanilla Bean Artisan and Amoretti® Natural Graham Cracker Artisan then mix until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the lined muffin tins filling each one 3/4 of the way full, then bake for 10-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cupcakes cool for about 10-15 minutes then move to a cooling rack.
Buttercream
- Beat your butter on a medium speed for 1-2 minutes with a paddle attachment until completely smooth.
- Mix in your Amoretti® Natural Toasted Marshmallow Artisan and salt on a low speed.
- Slowly mix in your powdered sugar on a low speed for a couple of minutes until full incorporated and smooth.
- Place your buttercream in a piping bag with your desired tip and pipe onto the completely cooled cupcakes. Then garnish with a chocolate square and mini marshmallows.
- Serve and enjoy!
