Pumpkin Pie Pound Cake

Pound Cake
- ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp baking soda
- ¾ cup half & half
- 2 tbs Amoretti® Pumpkin Pie Compound
Vanilla Bean Glaze
- 2 cups powdered sugar, sifted
- 1 tbsp Amoretti® Natural Vanilla Bean Artisan
- 2-3 tbsp milk
Directions
Pound Cake
- Preheat the oven to 350℉.
- Cream butter and sugar together until fluffy.
- Add eggs, one at a time, mixing until fully incorporated.
- Add all the dry ingredients and mix.
- Lastly, add the half & half and Pumpkin Pie Compound.
- If making muffin-sized cakes, bake for 15-18 minutes in a greased muffin tin.
- If making a full-size loaf, bake for 30-35 minutes in a greased loaf pan.
Vanilla Bean Glaze
- Whisk powdered sugar and Vanilla Bean Artisan together.
- Add milk, 1 tablespoon at a time, until desired consistency is reached.
- Spoon over cooled cake.
