This drink is also stunning layered, with bright green matcha floating over creamy white milk. It’s the kind of drink that feels like a treat and looks as good as it tastes.
Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons ceremonial-grade matcha
- ¼ cup hot water (not boiling)
- 6 ounces milk of choice
- 1 pump Amoretti® Premium Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla Bean Syrup
- 2 pumps Amoretti® Premium Peach Syrup
- Ice
- Peach slice, to garnish (optional)
Directions
- Over a bowl, sift the two teaspoons of matcha.
- Pour the water over top and whisk with a bloomed bamboo whisk or electric frother. Add the two pumps of Peach Syrup and stir until combined.
- To bloom whisk: pour hot water in a mug and set the bamboo whisk inside for 2-3 minutes.
- In a seperate glass add the milk, 1 pump of Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla Bean Syrup, and stir until combined. If you have an electric frother, a quick whisk will help incorporate the syrup faster.
- Fill the glass with ice, leaving about 2 inches of space at the top.
- Pour the matcha on top, and stir together.
- Garnish with a peach slice & enjoy!
