With the Holidays peeking around the corner, time to bring out your baking trays and whip up the most delicious snickerdoodles with a twist, infusing our Eggnog extract for that distinct, delicious Eggnog flavor!
- 1 cup softened unsalted butter
- 5 cups granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp. Amoretti® Vanilla Madagascar Bourbon Water Soluble 2X
- 2 tsp. Amoretti® Eggnog Extract Water Soluble
- 2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
- 5 tsp. cream of tarter
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp sea salt
- In the bowl of a stand mixer or with a hand mixer beat together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Scrape down the sides of the bowl and add eggs, vanilla, and eggnog.
- In a large bowl mix together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt.
- In 3 increments pour flour into mixing bowl and mix until combined.
- In a small bowl mix together brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Using a small dough scoop, scoop 1 tbsp of dough and form it into a ball. For a heavy sugar coating, roll dough into brown sugar mix. For a light coating sprinkle the mixture on top of the dough ball. Place dough on parchment lined cookie sheet.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes.
- Let cool and enjoy!
