Ingredients

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Add the butter and cream cheese in the bowl of a stand or hand mixer and blend until well combined, then add in the sugar and mix on medium speed for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add in the egg yolks, Amoretti® Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla 2X, Amoretti® Almond Extract, food coloring and then mix. Turn down the speed to low then slowly add in your four and mix until incorporated making sure to scrape down the sides as needed. 
  4. Add your dough into a cookie press and press each cookie onto an ungreased baking sheet about an inch apart. Sprinkle each cookie with your holiday sprinkles, then bake for 9-12 minutes. Pull from the oven, allow to cool for a minute or 2 before moving them to a cooling rack.
  5. Serve and enjoy! 
Notes
  • In this recipe we are making tree cookies but you can adjust the food coloring to fit for any shape cookie you desire or leave the dough white for snowflakes/snowmen. 
  • Each cookie press is a little bit different, some require one press per cookie, some require 2 presses per cookie.
  • You can store these cookies in a airtight container or a plastic bag for up to 2 weeks at room temp. or can be frozen for up to 2 months.
