Cranberry Bliss Bars
Your favorite holiday coffee shop treat but better ☃️🎉 These indulgent bars start with a soft blondie filled with cranberries and white chocolate chips and a burst of flavor from our Natural Orange Artisan and Orange Zest Extract, THEN we top them off with a tangy cream cheese frosting flavored with a dash of our Orange Zest Extract.... and the final touch, a sprinkle of cranberries and drizzle of white chocolate.
Ingredients
CRANBERRY BLONDIE
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, melted
- 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp. Amoretti® Natural Orange Artisan Flavor
- ½ tsp. Amoretti® Orange Zest Extract Water Soluble
- 1 tsp. Amoretti® Vanilla Bean Paste
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup dried cranberries
CREAM CHEESE FROSTING
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- ¼ tsp. Amoretti® Orange Zest Extract Water Soluble
- ½ tsp Amoretti® Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla Extract Extract
- 1/3 cup dried cranberries, chopped
- 2 oz. white chocolate chips
Directions
CRANBERRY BLONDIE
- Preheat oven to 350 F and line a 15x10 baking sheet with parchment paper
- With an electric mixer beat together butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in eggs, Orange Artisan, Orange Zest Extract and Vanilla Extract. Mix until well incorporated.
- Add salt, flour and baking powder to the bowl and mix until incorporated. Pour in cranberries and white chocolate chips and mix one last time until well dispersed.
- Evenly spread dough onto prepared baking sheet and bake for 220-25 minutes.
CREAM CHEESE FROSTING
- With an electric mixer cream together cream cheese and powdered sugar.
- Mix in Orange Zest Extract and Vanilla Extract.
- Once cookie has cooled top it with the cream cheese frosting and sprinkle with chopped cranberries.
- Melt the chocolate in a microwave or double broiler and drizzle on tope of the bars
- Slice and enjoy!
