Chocolate Espresso Pizzelle Cookies with a Cappuccino Tiramisu Dipping Cream

This decadent dessert awakens all your holiday senses with chocolate, espresso and cappuccino playing together to deliver BIG COFFEE FLAVOR in a sweet, cannoli-like package.
Whip out your pizzelle maker or borrow your neighbors to try this fun recipe! Make these as a flat pizzelle cookie with a dipping cream or roll the cookies fresh out of the maker and fill with cream for a fun cannoli-like twist! This recipe is prepared all gluten free and vegan
Ingredients
Pizzelle
- 1 ½ cups gluten free flour blend (I used Bob’s Redmill)
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- dash salt
- ¾ cup sugar
- ½ cup vegan butter melted
- 3 vegan eggs
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- ¼ cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp Amoretti® Espresso Extract
Cream
- 1 Cup of Country Crock Plant Based Heavy Whipping Cream
- 1/4 Cup Powdered Sugar
- 1/4 tsp. Amoretti® Cappuccino Tiramisu Extract
Directions
- Mix all ingredients together
- Pour into your pizzelle maker
- Allow to cool
- Top with powdered sugar or dip/drizzle with chocolate
