Calamansi Sticky Wings
Ingredients
- 1 Tbs Olive Oil
- 4 cloves garlic finely minced
- 2 thumb sized ginger finely minced
- 1/4 cup light soy sauce
- 2 tsp. sesame oil
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 2 tbsp corn starch
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tsp. Amoretti® Natural Calamansi Artisan Flavor
Directions
- Add olive oil, ginger and garlic to a medium pot. Sautee until soft and fragrant.
- Add in sesame oil and soy sauce. Heat until simmering.
- Add in brown sugar and red pepper flakes, stir until sugar is dissolved.
- Lower heat and in a separate bowl combine water and cornstarch.
- Add cornstarch mixture to pot and bring back to a simmer. Stir until sauce has thickened.
- Once thickened turn off heat and stir in Amoretti® Natural Calamansi Artisan Flavor.
- Toss on your favorite wings and enjoy!
