Big Batch Spicy Margarita

Big Batch Spicy Margarita

Whether you're hosting a Cinco de Mayo get-together, throwing a summer party, or just want a solid cocktail that doesn’t require you to stand behind the bar all night, this Big Batch Margarita Pitcher is exactly what you need.

It’s built for entertaining—bold in flavor, easy to scale, and ready to serve in seconds. No squeezing dozens of limes, no complicated cocktail shakers. Just a balanced, high-quality margarita that tastes like you made it from scratch (because you kind of did, with a little help).

The Secret Ingredient

The real magic is in the mix. Amoretti® Classic Margarita Mix is made with 46.5% lime and lemon juices, has no high fructose corn syrups, and delivers a clean, crisp flavor that complements your tequila—never covers it up. Unlike a lot of store-bought mixes, there’s no artificial aftertaste or syrupy sweetness here. Just a bright, balanced base that makes crafting a great margarita effortless.

It’s the kind of mix that lets the rest of your ingredients shine—especially when paired with a smooth reposado tequila and a touch of Grand Marnier for added depth.

Ingredients

Big Batch:  (serves 10-12)
  • 1 bottle Amoretti® Classic Margarita Mix
  • 2 1/3 cups tequila of choice (we used reposado)
  • 3/4 cup Grand Marnier
  • 3 cups of ice
  • 3-4 limes, sliced into wheels
  • 1 jalapeño, sliced with seeds
Single Serve:

Directions

Big Batch Margarita Pitcher:
  1. In a large pitcher, add the tequila and sliced jalapeño. Lightly muddle with a muddler or the back of a wooden spoon to release flavor.
  2. Pour in the Grand Marnier and Amoretti® Classic Margarita Mix.
  3. Add ice and lime wheels, then stir everything together until well chilled and combined.
  4. To serve, run a lime wedge around the rim of each glass and dip into margarita salt or Tajín (we love Tajín for the extra heat and flavor!).
  5. Fill glasses with the margarita, and garnish with a lime wheel and jalapeño slice.
Single Serve Margarita:
  1. In a cocktail shaker, add the jalapeño slice and tequila. Lightly muddle to infuse.
  2. Add the Amoretti® Classic Margarita Mix and Grand Marnier, then fill the shaker with ice.
  3. Shake well until chilled, about 10–15 seconds.
  4. Run a lime wedge around the rim of your glass and dip into salt or Tajín.
  5. Strain the margarita into the prepared glass, garnish with a lime wheel, and enjoy!
