Banana Split Cream Pie

Ingredients

Pie

Homemade or store bought pie crust
1 + ¾ cups whole milk
½ cup heavy cream
½ cup granulated sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
4 egg yolks
¼ cup corn starch
2 tbsp. Amoretti® Banana Split Compound
2 tbsp. unsalted butter

Whipped Cream

1 cup heavy cream
2 tbsp. granulated sugar
1 tsp Amoretti® Vanilla Madagascar Bourbon Water Soluble 2X

Topping

Amoretti® Vegan Chocolate Hazelnut spread
1.5 bananas
Crushed peanuts
Maraschino cherries

Directions

In a sauce pan mix together sugar, cornstarch, salt, milk and egg yolks.
Heat mixture until bubbling throughout, whisking occasionally.
Once bubbling heat for another 2 minutes and whisk just once or twice.
Remove from heat and strain trough a a fine strainer.
Stir in butter and vanilla and transfer to a large serving bowl or individual jars.
Once cooled stir in your desired amount of Amoretti® Swirl and enjoy!
