At the heart of this cocktail are two key ingredients that elevate its flavor profile to new heights: our Amoretti® Gourmet Brown Sugar Cinnamon Syrup and Amoretti® Gourmet Banana Syrup. This blend of syrups infuse the cocktail with layers of complexity and indulgence, transforming it into a masterpiece of mixology.

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 1/2 ounce of Kahlua
  • double shot of espresso
  • 1 & 1/2 pumps of Amoretti® Gourmet Brown Sugar Cinnamon Syrup
  • 1/2 pump of Amoretti® Gourmet Banana Syrup
  • Ice
  • Banana slice, caramelized (garnish)
  • Directions

    1. Brew a double shot of espresso and allow it to cool to room temperature. You can use a coffee machine or an espresso maker for this step.

    2. While the espresso is cooling, prepare your caramelized banana garnish. Slice a banana into thin rounds and heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Place the banana slices in the skillet and cook until they begin to caramelize, usually about 1-2 minutes per side. You can also sprinkle some sugar over the slice of banana and brûlée it with a kitchen torch. Once caramelized, set aside to cool.

    3. Next, fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the 2 ounces of vodka,1/2 ounce of Kahlua, 1 & 1/2 pumps of Amoretti® Gourmet Brown Sugar Cinnamon Syrup, 1/2 pump of Amoretti® Gourmet Banana Syrup, and the cooled double shot of espresso into the cocktail shaker.

    4. Shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds to chill and thoroughly mix the ingredients.

    5. Strain the mixture into a chilled martini glass using a fine mesh strainer to remove any ice chips.

    6. Garnish the drink with the caramelized banana slice and enjoy.

    7. Drink responsibly!

Note: Feel free to adjust the sweetness or intensity of the drink by adding more or less of the syrups according to your taste preferences.
