Pumpkin Spice Latte
Sweet, spice, and absolutely delcious!
While it still may not be officially fall, the second the clock strikes midnight and changes from August 31st to September 1st, we instantly want to put on our thickest and coziest sweaters, jump under a warm blanket and sip on some PSL's.
We do this with the air conditioning on, of course. Now you too, can join us in sitting in front of your AC or fan, because you won't want to miss out on this pumpkin spice latte heaven.
This recipe is so simple and easy to make! If you start now and get your air conditioning or fan running, it may be cold enough inside your home for this latte to not only taste, but feel like fall.
Ingredients
- 1-2 pumps of Amoretti® Pumpkin Spice Syrup
- 1 Pump of Amoretti® Crema Di Vanilla (optional, but SO good)
- 2 shots of espresso
- 1/2 cup of whole milk (or milk of choice)
- whipped cream, to top
- Pumpkin Pie spice, to sprinkle
- Cinnamon stick, for garnish
Directions
- Grab your favorite coffee mug and add in your 1-2 pumps of Amoretti® Pumpkin Spice Syrup and the optional, but deliciously important, single pump of Amoretti® Crema Di Vanilla. Pour in your hot espresso and swirl together.
- Grab your steaming pitcher and either steam your milk through your espresso machine OR heat milk over the stove and froth with an handheld milk frother. Both yield excellent results.
- To get perfectly frothed milk, tilt your pitcher or glass on it's side ever so slightly. You want the milk to start spinning. This will help get rid of air bubbles and frothy foam. Whole milk works best for this.
- Once steamed to perfection, pour into your syrup and espresso mixture and top with whipped cream, a little shake of pumpkin pie spice, and your cinnamon stick to garnish.
- Voila! The perfect PSL.
