How to Make and Flavor American Buttercream with Artisan Natural Flavors
Ingredients
- 1 lb. powdered sugar
- 2 sticks of unsalted butter
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 3-5 tbsp heavy cream
- 2 tbsp Amoretti® Artisan Natural Flavor of your choice (3-4 tbsp if use level is 8-10%)
Directions
- Beat butter in a stand mixer or with a hand mixer for 5 minutes on medium-high speed. Stop halfway through to scrape the sides of the bowl.
- Lower the speed to medium-low. Add powdered sugar in small increments.
- Add vanilla and mix on low until incorporated.
- Add Artisan. Stop halfway through to scrape the sides of the bowl.
- Add heavy cream 1 tbsp at a time until desired consistency is reached.
