Candied Coconut
Super simple topping that can be used for ice cream, fruit salad, or just as a standalone snack!
Ingredients
- 2 cups large flake coconut
- ½ cup lightly beaten egg whites (from about 4 eggs)
- ½ cup sugar
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Stir all the ingredients together.
- Spread onto a silpat- or parchment-lined sheet pan.
- Bake for 8 minutes.
- Stir coconut and rotate sheet pan.
- Bake for another 10 minutes or until the coconut is golden brown.
- Cool while stirring occasionally.
