Candied Coconut

Super simple topping that can be used for ice cream, fruit salad, or just as a standalone snack!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups large flake coconut
  • ½ cup lightly beaten egg whites (from about 4 eggs)
  • ½ cup sugar

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Stir all the ingredients together.
  3. Spread onto a silpat- or parchment-lined sheet pan.
  4. Bake for 8 minutes.
  5. Stir coconut and rotate sheet pan.
  6. Bake for another 10 minutes or until the coconut is golden brown.
  7. Cool while stirring occasionally.
Candied Coconut for topping ice cream, granola, and much more!
