I'm a big fan of Colette starting with my online classes at She's a great instructor. So glad I found this book of hers on Mastering Macarons. I like that if offers all the various techniques to make macarons..from simple to more complex., including one with egg white powder that I hope to try out soon.

Truly rewarding Macaron cookbook

Colette is an amazing pastry chef. I have taken all her classes at Craftsy and love everyone of them. She is so passionate about teaching and is an exemplary educator. When I saw that she had published a book on macaroons, I bought it immediately. The book is amazing! Everything you need to know about making macaroons in a clear and concise format. Plus, there's recipes with substitute flours and very unique macaron cakes. This is a must have cookbook!

Really nice book!

I bought this book after enjoying several of Chef Colette's Craftsy classes. The book is really well-written with beautiful pictures. Chef Colette is very thorough with her explanations, and her instructions are very clear. I have several macaron books, but this one is very good with its explanations - it is really good for learning how to make the macarons and for trouble-shooting if things go awry. I recommend this book for anyone who wants an in-depth understanding of how to make these sometimes finicky treats.
