I've had several failed attempts on making macarons, this time, i said i will try 1 last time. I followed Colette's techniques and recipe. And voila! Perfect as what i had hoped for! Thank you Colette, you really made me happy!
The book shares the origins of the macaron and how they’ve developed into today’s addictive cookie. They go over different techniques for making the meringue, piping technique, and troubleshooting for times the cookies may misbehave.
The almond flour is almost perfect in consistency. I had to sift only once.
Would buy again, or as a gift. The flavors I don’t use in my macarons.
